Learning Activity 1- Poetry Exploration

For your first Learning Activity I would like you to become more familiar with and

explore a wide variety of poems for kids. I have included some links of great poetry

websites for you to examine. You will also be looking at poetry books from the

library and classroom. Make sure you fill in the worksheet as you go. Remember

to be looking for:

Read at least 10 poems from the online resources
Read at least 10 poems from books
Compile a list of 5 total favorite poems and choose one as the favorite
Explain why you chose your favorite poem
